3 ram sticks in 4 slots12/23/2023 I cant make 2 cents out of any of says install on green first, but the 3 combinations on the table show that dual channel goes in green and purple. Always insert memory modules into green slots first, and it is strongly recommended not to insert the memory modules into the purple slots while the green slots are left empty Please select the identical memory modules to install on the dual channel, and do not install 3 memory modules on terr dimms, or it may cause some failure Dual-channel DDR works only in the 3 combinations listed in the table as below I am 100 sure the mobo is bad, but not much I can do about it, and not like I ever use it anymore. This would enable TWO SETS of dual channels. I cant run 4 in it regardless of what DIMM slot, what sticks, anything. If you have one RAM stick use the DIMMA2 slot (4th slot) If you have two RAM sticks use DIMMA2 and DIMMB2 (2nd and 4th slots) THIS WOULD ENABLE DUAL-CHANNEL If you have four RAM sticks Occupy the rest of the slots. |-| 128MB~1GB | 128MB~1GB | 256MB~2GBġ28MB~1GB | 128MB~1GB | 128MB~1GB | 128MB~1GB | 512MB~4GB One of my old PCs that I dont use anymore but was a folding at home machine for years, will only work with 3 sticks of RAM or less.
